7000 year Prophecy Time Tables

It will help you understand this better if you scroll down and look at the time tables before reading.

There's not a lot to this 7,000 year prophecy. But in order to fully understand it, you need to understand the days of creation. Those days were years to us, and days to God. One day is as a thousand years Peter tells us in 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

This 7,000 year time frame began at the end of the Day of Rest, during the days of Noah. The flood took place 1,656 years after Adam was created. Adding the time for the Day of Rest, brings us to the time the 7,000 years began as I will explain.

In short, the 7000 year prophecy can explain many things: the end times, the mark of the beast, why Jesus was tempted three times, the millennium, the time after the millennium, the war between Gog and Magog spoken of by Ezekiel, and the Day of Judgment, and even the reason why Jesus has not returned yet, of which the end is not when Jesus returns, but only half over. It even explains why God has remained silent over the last 2000 years. When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Rev 8:1

From the time of Jesus and John, when that was sent out, to the end of this 7,000 year propehcy will be close to 4,500 years. About half is where we are now, and the silence is said to be about half of that, but not exactly half. It's been just over 2,000 years since Jesus, which is about half of the remaining time. Most preachers will tell you the end is when Jesus returns. This is because they leave out any portion of time shown after the millennium that is found in the book of Revelavtion in chapter 20.

The silence will be broken when the return of Jesus begins. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:30. Thus, the silence will be broken at that time.

At the heart of this page are different diagrams that show the Seven Thousand Year Prophecy time line. It's very easy to see it when you tie scriptures together the right way. I ran across it when I was trying to place a time line on the seasons Jesus often spoke of, which means I am likely the first person to publicly talk about this. In recent times that is. This is what I know.

First 7 Days of Creation and the Day of Rest, or 7,000 years

Day 1, Gen 1:1

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Day 2, Gen 1:6

Then God said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."

Day 3, Gen 1:13

Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.

Day 4, Gen 1:13

Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night;

Day 5, Gen 1:20

Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens."

Day 6, Gen 1:24

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind:

Adam is Created

This takes place about 650 to 700 years into the 6th day.

Day 7, Gen 2:2

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

The notion of creation taking 7,000 years is not acepted by many bible readers. In Genesis, when it talks about a day of creation, most people think it's talkng about a 24 hour period as found in the common day. However, when other scriptures are put into the reasoning, a day of 24 hours does not match nor fit. Nor does it fit when back dating to the time of Adam.

For example, it's been 2023 years since the time of Jesus, and we identify it by the years, such as it is now 2023. But let's round that down to just 2,000 years to keep it simple for now. Then let's go back to the time of Abraham, which is roughly 1,767 years before Jesus. This brings us to 3,767 years. Now we add the time of Noah who lived for 950 years, and was born 1056 years after the creation of Adam. So basically, we are adding 2,006 more years to the equation. Which brings us to 5,773 years going back to Adam from now.

But if we take away the time that both Abraham and Noah were alive at the same time, we lose 59 years, making it 5714 years since Adam.

   2000
 +1767
   +950
 +1056
     -59
Equals 5,714

Taking all this into consideration, we find that Adam wasn't created in a 24 hour day. He was created around 700 years into the 6th day of creation. Had he been created in a 24 hour period, he still would not have been made at the beginning of the 6th day because God made all the animals first. Considering God had already created night and day, that would leave him very little time to make Adam after making all the animals first, and would have him making Adam under the dark of night. By percentage, it would leave only 7.2 hours for God to make him. That would mean Adam was created in darkness.

Another reasoning by bible readers is the word "Day." This Yowm (yome); is where most readers take it to mean a 24 hour day. But that word has many meanings, including days, years and even a lifetime or reigning period of a King. Since this understanding is broad, we then turn to Peter who specifically said But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. : 2 Pet 3:8.

In going with that concept, the 1,000 years for each day of creation fits into the time lines from Adam to now. Therefore, there is no reason to make a clam that the days of creation were merely 24 hour days. Instead of 6 days to us, it was more like 6,000 years, with the Day of rest being 1,000 years as well, which adds up to the first set of 7,000 years as I have shown above.

This also proves more relevant when going forward from Adam to now as each day passes and more are yet to come before prophecy is fulfilled. Such example is the Day of the Lord, or the millennium, being 1,000 years long.

So now we get into the time since the flood and into the future that ends with the Day of Judgment.

Second 7,000 years for manind and earth.

Day 8 = 8,000
Day 9 = 9,000

This covers the time frame from Noah and the flood to the days of Jesus.

Day 10 = 10,000
Day 11 = 11,000

This brings us up to our modern age and the time since Jesus was here.

Day 12 = 12,000

The Millennium. This will be the millennial era. Ironic that lands on Day 12 of the earths timed events. 12 Tribes, 12th day in prophecy, 12 stars, 12 apostles, and so on.

Day 13 = 13,000

This is the time after the millennium where Satan will be loosed to go out and deceive the nations again.

Day 14 = 14,000

The Day of Judgment. The Sabbath Day, just as the Day of Rest was the Sabbath Day.
"For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath."

Understand this: knowing this 7,000 year time frame has helped me understand prophecy better. For instance, the time frame of chapter 12 in Revelation that I talk about was also found by understanding the time line of events from both the first 7,000 years involving creation, and the next 7,000 years involving bible prophecy. Likewise, it should do the same for you.

Everybody lives and learns, and since I am the first to bring about this 7,000 year prophecy, it only stands to reason I can make a mistake here and there until I get it refined and understood. When I first saw the time frame of 7,000 years, I started it with Daniel and went to the end of prophecy from there. But, as time prevailed, I figured out that chapter 12 in Revelation is a set of completely past events. Therefore, I have determined this time frame started with Noah and not with Daniel.

The apostle John was shown the woman and the birth of Jesus in chapter 12, which are past events. So likewise, Daniel shown the past in his vision as well. "Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time." Dan 7:26

This is the same time frame as found with the woman in chapter 12. "that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent."  Rev 12;14.

The woman dates back to the days before the Garden of Eden when Jesus was born in heaven. Until the flood was the first segment of her 1,260 days. But it's not clear what this 1260 days is connected to, Referring to Rev 12:6. It may be the time from Adam's creation or the fall of Eve, to the end of the Day of Rest, or from the time God expelled Satan until the time of Abraham. While there is no rule that the times cannot overlap, logic says they don't.

The Time, Times, and Half a Time began after that, and most notably is when Satan began to set up up his kingdoms and bring on the persecution of mankind as shown in the last vserse of chapter 12 and God's prophecy to save them, beginning after the flood with Noah.

And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.  Rev 12:17.

Notice that is says "he went to make war with the rest of her offspring." This means she has more offspring than Jesus. How many more we don't know, but we do know God has many sons besides Jesus. See Job 38:7 and Gen 6:2 for example. But this is where people get confused about the persecution of saints and believe it is a time frame moving forward from the days of John to the end, when it is not.

Although Satan tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, which could be considered by some as the beginnig of persecution, the time frame of the persecution John is talking about comes afterwards because Satan was still in heaven when he tempted Eve. It wasn't until later that he was cast out as shown in 12:9, and so he began his persecution of the chosen after that.

What we see with the temptation of Eve, is that Satan was starting to convert peopel over to his way of thinking, and since he was in heaven and could bounce back and forth between them, it would also make him look like a God. Which ironically is what his last effort will be just before the millennium when he stands as the Abomination of Desolation and Man of Sin claiming that he is God.

Since the world was basically a rebirth after the flood and God's plan of salvation and kingdoms started, so did the persecution of any person of God, and later on any person of Jesus began. Abraham also came from those days and was even alive for 59 years of Noah's life. But even at that time kingdoms adverse to God had already began. So right after the flood is when this 7,000 year time frame began.

How I came across this 7,000 year time frame is when I was trying to figure out what Seasons meant. For example, Jesus spoke of seasons and so did Daniel.

  • When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. Luke 21:31
  • And pray that your flight may not be in winter. Mark 13:18

    Daniel also spoke of seasons.

  • "As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. Dan 7:12

Since Jesus returns during the time he referred to as "Summer," we know it will begin the Millennium. But he also mentions a time he called "Flight" as occuring during the Winter. By adding this up, the millennium is made up of summer and fall seasons. Winter is the time after the millennium. Flight is a time of resurrection. Rev 20:5 is the Winter resurrection.

This means the millennium is made up of 2 seasons, which translates to a Time being made up of 4 seasons. Therefore, when Daniel said "a season and a time," he meant 2,500 years or so. From the time of Daniel until Jesus takes over, will be that 2,500 years, and then the Beasts will then be thrown out of the world events. We are very close to that time in years.

2,000 years back to Jesus, and another 500 years back to Daniel. 70 weeks times 7, makes 490 years. But they were judged just before that or around that time frame, so it may be slightly over 500 years, but close to it.

Another factor is when Jesus is to return. He said he would raise up his church in 3 days. It's almost the beginning of the third day since Jesus left. "Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." John 2:19.

The temple wasnt destroyed until around 70 AD. As such, it was never rebuilt or even close to it 3 days later. Therefore, when Jesus said this, he wasn't talking about 3 days to us, he was talkng about 3 days to God.

2029 or 2030 will mark the end of the second day and the beginning of the third. This is becaue Jesus is said to have been crucified around 29 to 30 AD. Adding two days to God brings us to 2029 or 2030. But that still doesn't mean he wil return in exactly those years. As he said, he could delay his coming. See Mat 24:48, Mat 25:5, and Luke 12:45.

The war of Gog and Magog takes place after the millennium. This shown in Rev chapter 20 verse 20:8 and 20:9. While we can read it as an event, no time length has been given or expressed for it or when after the millennium it will occur. Since Winter is going to be roughly 500 years long, we can assume this war will take place towards the end of it.

This will give Satan time to go out and deceive the nations again as he has been doing and is doing now. On the reverse side, this is also a second time salvation will be offered to those who have just been brought back to life in the reusrrection of Rev 20:5. Thus the meaning of "Flight" in Mat 24:20. Keep in mind, those that follow Satan will also be back to help destroy what Jesus has been setting up and doing for the 1,000 year reign we call the millennium.

These will be the later days Ezekiel talked about:

"After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely." Eze 38:8.

"Those brought back from the sword," are the ones resurrected when Jesus returns for the Milennium and have lived in peace during it. The peace and safety will be disrupted as time progresses because of the resurrection of the "Rest of the Dead" in Rev 20:5, which will eventually lead to perhaps the greatest war that ever was as the followers of Satan come upon Israel and Jesus. Where then God will destroy them himself this time.

Since that prophecy is set for the "later years," and we know the later years don't come until after the millennium. Therefore, we know that the great battle of Gog and Magog mentioned by both John and Ezekiel, will not be before the return of Jesus like some people are teaching, where they claim it is the battle of Armageddon mentioned in Rev 16:16. Which is a completely different battle.

But we will learn more about that prophecy during the millennium because both the apostle John and prophet Ezekiel will be around, and of course, even Jesus, to explain God's plan for that time period.

As you can see, the end is not when Jesus returns, and no one is going to be taken off to paradise to spend eternity just yet. We are here until the bitter end. Which is some 2,500 to 3,000 years from now.

  1. The millennium.
  2. The Winter and war of Gog and Magog.
  3. The Day of Judgment.

". . . for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." Mat 24:6
"But he who endures to the end will be saved." Mat 10:22
