It will help you understand this better if you scroll down and look at the time
tables before reading.
In my earlier days, I learned bible prophecy like everyone else, by listening to someone preach about it. At first I thought preachers were in touch with God somehow and had answers only they and God knew, and found myself sometimes wondering why people weren't listening to them talk on such an important issue. When they spoke of prophecy, I listened because I didn't know enough to question if what they said was true or not, and so I gave them the benefit of doubt. As time went on I started realizing I didn't always agree with what I was hearing them say because there were many scriptures left out or didn't add up to what was taught. One of the things taught back then that is still being taught today, and that is: the end of this world is when Jesus returns and that a rapture could happen any moment.
Like many of you, I automatically assumed a preachers or television evangelists were men of God and knew what they were talking about. It took awhile, but I began to learn they were teaching religion and not bible facts. The same is true today as it was then, and even goes back to the time of Jesus and before. Religious groups often fail to teach facts because of their religious views. They often make excuses for why they don't teach what is written and then defend their religious effortand ignore anyone elses opinion. Some of the bible facts they fail to teach point out the existence of a 7000 year restoration prophecy that started many years ago and will continue on many years past the millennium.
The 7000 year prophecy can explain many things: the end times, the mark of the beast, why Jesus was tempted three times, the millennium, the time after the millennium, the war between Gog and Magog spoken of by Ezekiel, and the Day of Judgment, even the reason why Jesus has not returned yet, of which the end is not when Jesus returns, but only half over. It even explains why God has remained silent over the last 2000 years.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Mat 24:6
When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Rev 8:1
Wars and troubled times are among the many things that will happen before Jesus returns, letting us know the end is not is not brought on by these things. All of which occur during the time God and the heavens are silent until Jesus returns.
Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:30
Thus the silence will be broken at that time. At the heart of this page are different diagrams that show the Seven Thousand Year Prophecy time line. It’s very easy to see it when you tie the scriptures together. I ran across it when I was trying to place a time line on the seasons Jesus often spoke of, which means I am likely the first to publicly talk about this. This is what I know.
Time Table of the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
Example of time only.
Spring is almost over: all the end things start to happen.
1948, 2000-2300 AD or there abouts.
Summer starts: the millennium time, time spent without
2000-2300 AD or there abouts.
Fall starts: This is when Satan is released a second time
3000-3300 AD or there abouts.
Winter starts: this is the time just before the Day of Judgment
4000-4300 AD or there abouts.
Sabbath day starts: the Day of Judgment. A second
5000-5300 AD or there abouts.
7000 years later from the time of Daniel.
Off to the New Heaven and new earth.
I call it the Seven Thousand Year Restoration Prophecy of Daniel because the prophecies about restoring the kingdom of God and about Jesus being cut off for awhile are mentioned in Daniels visions.
At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision: Dan 9:23
It appears the restoration of God's kingdom began with that statement given to Daniel. Daniel also told us about the Messiah that was soon to come. Then later when Jesus came, he too mentioned the calling of his lost sheep and talked openly about the kingdom of God and how it was now here. He also talked about future events that will come to pass, however, he didn't mention the time to us in in years, he mentioned it in seasons.
In a sense, Jesus was saying all signs before he returns will start in the spring and not the summer because he said the summer is near, and spring comes before summer. The way to figure this out is to understand what he was talking about when he said this:
When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Luke 21:30-31
The kingdom of God was revealed to many people back then, but still kept hidden from many others. Therefore the
kingdom he was talking about was when God will not be kept hidden from the world or us anymore.
While Jesus is not recorded as saying anything about Israel being destroyed and then making a comeback before he returns, it will play a major role when he returns. For almost 1900 years Israel was not a nation. Then in 1948 it was re-established and became a country. While many religious groups think this is a postive event, they forget about prophecy, or worse, don't even know it. The prophecies reflect Jerusalem as being in control when Jesus comes back, but under the rule of Satan, not God.
Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. Mark 1:14-15
The gospel includes the Book of Revelation because it too has events revealed that proclaim the existence of Jesus, therefore, it is part of the gospel. Jerusalem will be rebuilt to some degree before Jesus returns, such as it is now, in order for Satan to establish himself and proclaim to be God almighty.
The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Rev 16:19
I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name. Rev 3:12
Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Rev 11:8
Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, Mat 20:18
With those scriptures you can see that Jerusalem is the Great City and will be destroyed when Jesus returns and replaced by a new one for the millennium because Satan will proclaim to be God in Jerusalem.
When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), Mat 24:15
he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God. 2 Th 2:3
Spring comes before summer, so when Jesus said that summer will be near he meant this is one of the things that
will be in place. What the Abomination of Desolation is, will be a statue or an image made in the likeness of
the beast mentioned in revelation. Since that hasn't happened yet, we know that Jesus is not scheduled to return.
When you learn about the 7000 year prophecy, you can also see why it's been almost 2000 years since Jesus left, and why he hasn't returned. If we take into consideration that Jesus rose on the third day from the grave, then we can assume he will return on the third day. That is of course, a third day in the terms of Gods timing and not ours.
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day.
Seven days to God are seven thousand years to us. Why would Peter make such a statement if it had no meaning?
The reason he mentioned it is because he knew about the 7000 year prophecy and that Jesus would not be returning
for at least a couple of thousand years, therefore he told them not to "forget" the timing of God's days. 2029 should be
a benchmark year for the end of the second day. Since Jesus prophesied until the year 29, adding 2000 years makes
2029-2030 two days of Gods timing.
Preachers have taught for years that we will meet Jesus in the clouds and go away to another world made expecially for us while God destroys this one. Not so, Jesus said this when he was here:
And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. Mat 24:20
This is what I have learned, your flight is your time to be saved through Jesus, it's your time of salvation.
Jesus was saying that you should pray it is now and not in the winter or on the Sabbath. He was not talking about
winter time here on earth, or the Sabbath day of the week.
Winter is the stretch of time that comes after the millennium and continues to the Day of Judgment. Summer is the time of the millennium.
The Sabbath is the Day of Judgment that comes after the war between God and Gog and Magog, which is also after the millennium.
In other words, pray that you receive salvation now and not after the millennium or on the Sabbath day, because times will get harder and the days left for salvation shorter. But more importantly, this supports and suggests there's a considerable amount of time left for this earth concerning the slavation of mankind even after the millennium.
But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. Rev 20:5
Right after the millennium will be another resurrection stage. This stage will include all of the people
who have ever lived that were not allowed to be a part of the millennium. This is in the bible and for years
I couldn't understand why preachers weren't talking about it, but as time went on I could see it went against their
religious beliefs, and the here today gone tomorrow attitude of a rapture and the end of the world. Imagine that,
using the bible to preach and then leaving out such an important issue because you don't believe in the time
period after the millennium. But then, Satan is suppose to be deceiving as many as possible during this time period.
None the less, it is as clear as it is written and needs no further assistance to understand. This is the winter that Jesus was talking about and time will be running out for the unsaved. The next stage and resurrection will occur after the world has been subjected to Satan once again.
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. Rev 20:7-8
Again, Satan will not go to eternal hell when Jesus returns, he will only be locked away for a thousand years,
and then he will be released. If you add 1000 years to the current year, you get a much longer time before
the Day of Judgment by at least a thousand years. Then add the time for the "rest of the dead" to be resurrected
and you get an even longer time period before the Day of Judgment, which could be a thousand year long period in
itself, which adds even more time that will take place on earth after the millennium.
There's also something more that needs to be understood, no time element was given as to how long it will take for Satan to teach and gather his followers to build an army brave enough to go into battle after all that has happened. This is not something that will be done is seconds or minutes after his release. The earth will have had peace and safety for 1000 years and then many of those resurrected after that time will be repenting and obtaining salvation. Therefore, Satan may need a considerable amount of time to pull off an army sizable to fight against Jerusalem.
Keep in mind, the "spirit of the Antichrist" or "false prophet" will not be around when this period takes place because Jesus himself will be here and they will have already been thrown into the lake of fire.
When the battle between Gog and Magog ends, billions of people will be dead. God will send fire from heaven to kill all of those who will go up against Jerusalem, where Jesus and many of his followers will be seated and ruling the world at that time. Those who die by the hand of God will be resurrected back to life later to endure the Day of Judgment. This is also found in the book of Revelation, but not so obvious if you don't understand the timing of events.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Rev 20:13
Hence, the time for the Day of Judgment is given to us, and as you can tell, it is not when Jesus returns, but
rather it occurs several years later, if not thousands. In other words, the Day of Judgment is absolutely not going
to take place when Jesus returns. So why is it preachers and religions can't get this right if it is clearly written
in the bible? My guess is two fold, the wrong spirit has been teaching them, or they are too proud or under educated
to tell it like it is.
The Day of Judgment brings the thrid time mankind will be offered salvation. Those who have lost their way this time will receive another chance. Therefore, mankind will be offered salvation three times. This is why Jesus was tempted by Satan three times, and accounts for the 3 times Peter denied Christ. It also answers why Jesus asked Peter if he loved Jesus 3 times later on. Perhaps to test Peter's love as if to hold true through the three times of tribulaion for the unsaved.
Moving on, while Jesus spoke to us in seasons, Daniel was given this statement so that he could tell us how long it was going to be before the kingdom of God is restored. The difference is that he was not given years or seasons, but rather it was revealed to him in a different way, a Time, Times, and half a Time:.
Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. Dan 12:7
This also coincides with what is found in the Book of Revelation.
Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Rev 12:14
As near as I can tell, both of these Time, Times, and half Time represent the same time frame.
Both seem to start and finish at the same time, with neither of them giving us a true start or finish time. While
I have placed it spanning the entire 7000 years, because all things will not be completed until then, it's possible
that it is only the time until Jesus returns. Keep in mind, just because the length of time for all things to happen
was given, it does not rule out the time had already started before the angel visited Daniel.
But for support, we can see with the "post millennium" events things will not be over when Jesus returns, therefore there is no way for the kingdom to be completely restored until the much later time. God set out a plan to restore his Kingdom and this is the reason Jesus was sent to earth and why Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel all had visions of the future. Learning something new isn't always easy to do, especially when you have been told many other versions of bible propphecy that aren't true.
Stepping aside for a moment, it seems that about every 2000 years or so something biblical happens.
An interesting thing that is not in the bible is the asteroid Apophis, which is named after the Egyptian God of death. This asteroid is heading to earth and is expected to be here by 2029. If it doesn't pass close or hit the earth then, it is expected to in the year 2034 on its next rotation around the galaxy. Is this the star mentioned in the book of Revelation named wormwood? Wormwood also means death or poison.
Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Rev 8:10-11
Typically, the word "star" in the Book of Revelation means "angel." But this one tells us about
physical things that will happen to earth, indicating that this really means a star, which could also mean asteroid
or fallen planet since we sometimes call distant planets stars, simply because we cannot see what it really is.
Not everything physical that is suppose to happen in the bible is explained or detailed out for us to use. This asteroid may very well be the one mentioned in Revelation and was named such to fulfill prophecy, being poisoned (wormwood) brings death. When you add this to the timing of things, it seems very possible that the return of Jesus is very close and may very well happen within the next 30 years.
And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; Luke 21:25
While the nations are in distress these days and the waves are roaring every time an earthquake happens, I don't perceive them as the same events here. This will happen when the powers of heaven are shaken and not until. I think what we have seen so far is small compared to what is really coming. Besides, there have been no signs with the sun, moon, or stars yet and God said this time he would shake the earth and the heavens.
whose voice shook the earth, then, but now he has promised, saying, "Yet once more will I shake not only the earth, but also the heavens." Heb 12:26
But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; Mat 24:29
None the less, if you apply a 2000 year span to the word Time, you get seven thousand years. How
interesting is it that it also concludes with a half a time, or 1000 years, as single event, which appears
to be the Day of Judgment.
Take a look at the table below and see how it all ties together. On the bottom side of the horizontal line of time you can see the 1000 year segments, and on the top you can see the Time, Times and half a Time.
While I started this diagram with the time of Daniel, it may very well have begun right after the flood with Noah or a few years later with Abraham. Abraham and Noah were alive at the same time andthey could have discussed God's plan of salvation together. It's a guessing game at this stage because we have not been given all the answers.
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Dan 12:9.
Too many people have tried to decipher Daniels visions and failed for obvious reasons. I also believe that most of what he said has already happened. For instance, up to chapter 9 Daniel talked about events that are documented as already happening. Chapter 10 & 11, tells us about the Seven Kings and how Satan is the King of the North and will be the one who fights against Jesus. It's after that where we have trouble figuring things out and where things have been sealed up. However, part of chapter 12 can be seen as happening when Jesus returns and after the millennium.
And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Dan 12:1, & 2.
Therefore, we must admit that some of his words can be explained, but not all of them. I think Daniel will be explaining all of them to us during the millennium. That way we will know more what to expect when Satan is released afterwards.
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, Rev 20:7 & 8
After the millennium the entire amount of people that have ever lived since the creation of mankind, starting back when Adam was alive, will be resurrected and this is part of what Daniel was talking about. Since so many people will be alive at that time, many of them will not be satisfied knowing that Jesus and the believers are blessed and they will rise up in the billions as they go up against Jesus and those who were alive during the millennium.
. . . whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Rev 20:8
Again, this is the time where God himself will deal with these people and kill each and everyone of them while they still stand on their feet.
And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. Rev 20:9
And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. Zec 14:12
This is not a nuclear war (which is being taught these days), this is God himself using his own ability to destroy those who come up to destroy Jesus and the city of Jerusalem. This is also the time that Ezekiel talks about in chapter 38.
You will say, 'I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.' to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. Ez 38:11 & 12
People have been teaching the war that Ezekiel talks about will happen before the return of Jesus, but if that is true, then why does John tell us in Revelation about a war with Gog and Magog? The only answer to this when you compare all the scriptures is that this war does not take place before Jesus returns, but rather it takes place after the millennium. Which is also the "later" days of the prophecy and this world.
After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. Ez 38:8
The book of Revelation clearly shows us the "later" days are not until after the millennium.
Being brought back by the sword is the resurrection of the dead back to life and the dwelling safely is the
millennium time and reign of Jesus. This is how we know the war Ezekiel talks about is not until after the
millennium and during the winter time Jesus spoke of.
What happens next is where Satan will be done away with once and for all. Then those who died in this war will be resurrected back to face the Day of Judgment. This is also when death and Hades will come to and end. Unfortunately, many people teach that death will end when Jesus returns, but this clearly shows that it too will not end until long after the millennium.
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Rev 20:10
Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Rev 20:14
This is why I say people need to teach what is written and not what they
are lead to believe by a religion or by people who don't have understanding. This includes those who are
teaching on television and around the world today.
Now that you know about this 7000 year time period, take a look at this scripture and see if it has a different meaning than what you have been taught.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Mat 24:14
People have been hard pressed to teach the gospel before "the end" comes, not knowing that the end does not come
when Jesus returns. That scripture means the gospel will be taught again after the millennium so that all of the
tribes of earth can hear the word and have a chance of salvation.
You see, the gospel hasn't been taught to all of the world or to all of the kingdoms. This is impossible because Jesus wasn't a savior during Adam's time, nor was he during the flood or later with Abraham or Moses. Jesus didn't come to the world as a savior until 2000 years ago. Therefore, in order for the gospel to be preached to all the kingdoms and all the people, it will have to be continued after the millennium and then that scripture will have true meaning. This next scripture explains the resurrection times in a very different way.
But many who are first will be last, and the last first. Mark 10:31
Those who will be resurrected first are the ones who are chosen now, those who will be resurrected last are
the ones who will be resurrected after the millennium. They will not receive salvation until then even though
many of them lived long before Jesus ever came to earth. The first who lived will be the last to receive salvation,
and those last to live will be first to receive salvation.
The end will come after the millennium, after the rest of the world will have been taught about Jesus and after the kingdom has been restored. Jesus came here for all of mankind, not just a few.
Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11
The time line below shows a closer approximate time from Daniel to the time that Jesus started his
ministry. I want you to take special notice to the 3½ years Jesus was teaching before he was crucified. This
was the first half of the 70th week Daniel talked about. Also, I am not sure I agree with history that
reflects Jesus being born before the common era. Some say he was born in the year zero. Either way, this
chart is simply for a reference. I myself tend to say that BC is before Christ, CE or Common Era is when he was
here, and AD is of course after death.
But researching this is very difficult to pinpoint. Websters has AD as: Anno Domini, in the year of our Lord. The problem is two fold. One, which "year of our Lord" do they refer to, birth or death? Two, if it is death, then why does January 1 come 6 days after Dec 25 and not in the spring time? This suggests time was calculated for a different reason when it began. It's interesting how facts or reliable information can diminish as time goes on. Which means 2000 years since Christ may be up already, or it won't be up until 2029-2034.
Food for thought: another way it has been refered to is this: BC means before Christ, Common era is the time he was alive, and AD starts the year after his death.
As you can see, there is no seven-year Tribulation because Jesus fulfilled the first half of the seventieth week. When Jesus died the seventieth week stopped half way through it. The last half of it will be completed later as told in the Book of Revelation.
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Rev 13:5
Daniels prophecy and the seventieth week prophecy is broken down like this:
Jesus died almost three and a half years after he started the seventieth week and remained for a while afterwards teaching, therefore slightly more than a 3½ year time frame is left, hence the 1290 days spoken of by Daniel.
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Dan 12:11
The daily sacrifice being taken away is the rapture of those who are "alive and remain" that takes place when Jesus returns. This gives Satan 1290 days for his revealing to take place and to fight with Jesus after 1260 of those days. That means Jesus is here when the Mark of the Beast is set up. Notice how the order of things to come are written in Chapter 14 of the book of Revelation.
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads ... Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, ... Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Rev 14:1, 9-10, & 13
Jesus is back when the Mark of the Beast happens just as John has said in this chapter. The third angel will follow after Jesus has already set foot on Mount Zion. Therefore, there is no way for the Mark of the Beast to occur before then. Many false things have been said about the Mark of the Beast, just like the end of the world when Jesus returns. Although, it will seem like the end of the world is about to happen just before Jesus returns.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Mat 24:29
If that doesn't scare the hell out of you then nothing will. That alone is enough to scare the hell out of
the world and all its population and it will seem like the world is going to end, but it won't. This is the
part where the nations will be in distress and waves will be roaring and why I say the events happening now
are not the same events. This will be the beginning of the wrath of God and so the Rapture will not be far
away when things start to happen.
I hope you can see how I came to understand this 7000 year prophecy and hopefully by now you can understand what Jesus meant when he said:
Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near-at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Mark 13-28-30
Summer, which is the millennium, should be close because the signs are becoming more increasing
everyday. The millennium is next, then the second resurrection stage where more preaching will be done by the
followers of Jesus, then the war against Jerusalem with Gog and Magog followed by a final resurrection and the Day
of Judgment, (Sabbath Day). This generation is of course, a meaning for mankind and not a time frame of years.
Could I be wrong about all of this? Of course. It's possible and very probable to some degree, but not by much. I know when someone says they might be wrong about something how it deflates their work, but I am only human and working with a book that has very little to offer when it comes to factual and timely answers. Which is why people continue to study and research the bible for answers today. But for the most part, I hope you can see and understand the Seven Thousand Year Prophecy is very real, and how much there is to learn about it.
