7000 year Prophecy Time Tables

It will help you understand this better if you scroll down and look at the time tables before reading. (please note, I update this site from time to time because a new or different way of explaining something comes to me that will help the reader understand better, and so I often make subtle changes)

I grew up like everyone else who listened to stories about the end of the world and the end of mankind on Judgment Day. As time went on and I read the bible more and more, I could see where many scriptures were left out of sermons and many more had no explanation given. This led to many the contradictions I heard as time went on, most of which have never stopped being taught and that bothers me. If you're going to take the Bible serious enough to preach about it, then people should stop lying about the things they claim are written in it.

The end times, the mark of the beast, why Jesus was tempted three times, the millennium, the time after the millennium, the war between Gog and Magog spoken of by Ezekiel, and the Day of Judgment can all be explained by this 7000 year timing of events. The end is not when Jesus returns, it's only half over.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Mat 24:6

At the heart of this page are different time tables that show the Seven Thousand Year Prophecy. It’s so real that it's very easy to see when you tie all the scriptures together that show its existence. This is not something that's made up, it was something that I ran across by accident. How I found it was by trying to place the information shown below into a table of time to show how long the end time prophecies will take to complete if they were done according to the Bible.

I call it the Seven Thousand Year Restoration Prophecy of Daniel because most of the prophecies about restoring the kingdom of God and about Jesus are mentioned in Daniels visions and are said to have begun with him. They will end according to the book of Revelation after the Day of Judgment. So there are many scriptures that reveal things that will happen along the way from Daniels time to the end of this world, 7000 years later.

At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision: Dan 9:23

It appears the restoration of God's kingdom began with that statement given to Daniel, however, when Jesus came he didn't mention time in years, he mentioned seasons.

This first table is what I placed in the back of the book: “There’s Just a Lot to Say,” long before I established this website. It reflects the seasons that Jesus mentioned while he was here with a brief explanation of what to expect and an approximate time of occurrence of projected years.

Time Table of the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

Example of time only.

Spring is almost over: all the end things start to happen.

1948, 2000-2300 AD or there abouts.

Summer starts: the millennium time, time spent without
Satan or the antichrist around.

2000-2300 AD or there abouts.

Fall starts: This is when Satan is released a second time
to go out and deceive people again.

3000-3300 AD or there abouts.

Winter starts: this is the time just before the Day of Judgment
when the last battle will take place and man has
a second chance at salvation.

4000-4300 AD or there abouts.

Sabbath day starts: the Day of Judgment. A second
resurrection for the last who are
given a third chance to repent and recognize
that God is in control through faith in Jesus.

5000-5300 AD or there abouts.
7000 years later from the time of Daniel.

Off to the New Heaven and new earth.

All this is table doing is showing you that the events of the prophecy that Daniel was given and the seasons that Jesus spoke of will happen over a much longer period of time than we have been lead to believe over the years. The bible prophesies go far into the future and God wants all of mankind to know this or it would not be in the bible. It took me a long time to understand why so many preachers and evangelists, and even me, never saw this, but I blame the "spirit of the antichrist" leading so many astray. But the bottomline is this, if somehting you have heard doesn't fit into other scriptures, then most likely it is completely false and misleading.

The bible is already difficult enough to understand without having outside interference. But add in a few people influenced with the spirit of the antichrist or the children of Satan leading the way and it becomes even more difficult. They teach a different Time Table of events, one that started long ago and continues today teaching that the end will happen when Jesus returns to earth and that will be the end of all things we know and we're off to new things after that. Because so many people have been taught the wrong time of events for so long, it may be difficult for you to understand this at first, but as you will see, it can be fully explained with scriptures.

Obviously, there's no way to know for sure if the year 2000 or 1948 marked the start of the countdown before the return of Jesus, but many people believe that it does since the nation of Israel was once again established. Therefore, this date was used as a way for you to see that thousands of years have gone by and a few more will also go by before all is said and done. The millennium alone is one thousand years long by itself and only mentioned in a few verses. As you can see when you look at the Time Table, there are more things to come after Jesus returns to earth and after the millennium that needs to be taught and hasn't been.

To start with, you must keep in mind that Jesus said all things will start in the spring and not the summer, sort of like I have shown you in the table above. The way to figure this out is to understand what he was talking about when he said this:

When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Luke 21:30-31

This statement was regarding the future when it was said, which we now assume was the establishing of Israel. Since we know almost 2000 years have passed since Jesus said this, we know that the Kingdom of God he spoke of is not complete or fully established on earth yet. There's some contradiction here if you take into consideration that Jesus also said the kingdom of God is already at hand.

Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. Mark 1:14-15

This means that the time of the Kingdom of God is two fold, where now we can learn about it and enter into it through our prayers and thoughts, and later we will see it physically building itself here on earth through the finish and completed rebuilding of Jerusalem when Jesus returns.

And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power. Mark 9-1

Between these scriptures you can see that a future power of God will come later on, while at the same time a limited power of God is also already here. We can assume that some of those who were standing there are still alive because the full power of God hasn't arrived yet. On a side note about them, these are lkely the last two witnesses mentioned in the book of Revelation that have not surfaced yet.

Spring comes before summer, and so Jesus said that summer is near, therefore the restored Kingdom of God is also near or nearer. Since Jesus was resurrected from death sometime from the evening hours of the second day through morning of the third day, 1948 – 2000 may be tied in before summer (millennium) starts, and so the beginning of the end day events before Jesus returns have likely started already. Again, this is only a graph for a visual aid and not true dates. The true dates will not be known until he actually returns, where then we can go back and do the numbers from there. Though it seems not likely, keep in mind that the actual return of Jesus could still be hundreds of years away.

I used this scripture as a source of days when I begin to see the seven thousand year prophecy in God's days and where it began to have some meaning, other than something that was just said.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Pe 3:8

Seven days to God or seven thousand years to us. Why would Peter make such a statement if it had no meaning and was just something he said? Therefore it must mean something. To me it means that Jesus was referring to several days in advance when he said this:

And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. Mat 24:20

To find the meaning of what Jesus said you should ask yourself a couple of questions: when is winter, and when is the Sabbath? How can winter be special since just about any time on earth there is a winter period? At some point in time, whether it is in the northern hemisphere or the southern, winter is virtually common year around. And what could be so special about the Sabbath? I thought the Sabbath was a good day and a day of rest, but as you can see here, Jesus is suggesting the Sabbath is not going to be such a good time and that you should pray that your "flight" isn't then.

I asked myself those questions for many years and it was not until I was trying to figure out what the seasons meant that I could see the meaning of that statement. After the seasons came clear to me it was easy for me to see what Jesus was talking about; winter is towards the last days after the millennium just before the Day of Judgment. The Day of Judgment is the Sabbath day of the restoration prophecy. Hence, you have a confirmation of what Jesus was talking about and why he would say it the way he did; "pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath."

In other words, pray that you receive salvation now and not after the millennium or on the Sabbath day, because times will get harder and the days left for salvation shorter such as the days of winter are. I expect only the hard core people will be the ones who still reject God's kingdom during those times.

The current teaching on the Day of Judgment is when Jesus returns to earth. This is calculated by the time given in the bible and the amount of time since creation, which is around 6000 years. Thus, the seventh day is presumed to be the return of Jesus and this is why so many say the Day of Judgment will also happen then. No doubt people have caught on to the seventh day before now, which is also in reference to a 7000 year time frame, but as you can tell the end of it can't be when Jesus returns because the millennium is always left out of this theory and left unexplained along with the release of Satan mentioned in the book of Revelation and the two resurrections that will follow and the Day of Judgment in chapter 20.

In fact, many Christian faiths don't even believe in the millennium or any time after it at all. They believe and follow the false theory that the end will come when Jesus returns and never question it. Some other religions believe in the millennium, but believe the Day of Judgment is combined with it. Which of course, there's no scriptural support for it. While even still some religions believe the millennium has already come. Which in that case, why to they believe in the millennium as being over and disregard the other scriptures about the resurrections and the Day of Judgment. This just shows you that some religions pick what they want to believe and what they don't want to talk about or teach, which will leave you wondering every time. It's best not to hang around people who pick and choose like this who leave the rest of things out of their sermons.

The flight that Jesus is talking about is your time of salvation and the tribulation's that you will endure once you have decided to accept the fact that Jesus is Lord. This can happen now during this life time, or it can happen later during the next two life times.

But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. Rev 20:5

Right after the millennium will be a second resurrection stage. This stage will include all of the people who have ever lived that were not allowed to be a part of the millennium. This is as clear as it is written and needs no further assistance to understand. This is the winter that Jesus was talking about and time will be running out. The next stage and resurrection will occur after the world has been subjected to Satan once again.

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. Rev 20:7-8

There is something that needs to be understood about that scripture, no time element was given as to how long it will take Satan to bring about his followers and build an army to go into battle. This is not something that will be done is seconds or minutes. The earth will have had peace and safety for 1000 years and then many of those resurrected then will be repenting. Therefore, Satan may need a considerable amount of time to pull off an army sizable to fight Jerusalem.

Keep in mind the "spirit of the Antichrist" will not be around when this period takes place because Jesus himself will be here and it will have been locked away in the bottomless pit not to be released again.

When the battle ends, billions of people will be dead. God will send fire from heaven to kill all of those who go up against Jerusalem where Jesus and many of his followers will be seated and ruling the world. These people will be resurrected back to life to endure the Day of Judgment that will follow. This is also found in the book of Revelation, but not as obvious if you don't understand the timing of events.

The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Rev 20:13

Hence, the time for the Day of Judgment is given to us, and as you can tell, it is not when Jesus returns, but rather it occurs several thousand years later. Mankind will be offered salvation three times. This is why Jesus was tempted three times and accounts for the 3 times Peter denied Christ and was also ask if he loved Jesus 3 times later on.

Each time represents the three stages of salvation. I expect the reason for the temptations happening all at once is because once Jesus gets started he doesn't need to return to the temptation stage. His plan from then on was to start restoring the kingdom of God.

After the millennium, Satan will rise up for the last time to kill the children of God with an army of his sons and followers during the winter and I expect on the Day of Judgment as well. That is why Jesus said to pray that your “flight” does not happen in the winter or on the Sabbath. It was a warning for us, not a blessing.

While Jesus spoke to us in seasons, Daniel was given this statement so that he could tell us how long it was going to be before the kingdom of God is restored. The difference is that he was not given years or seasons, but rather it was revealed to him in a different way, Time, Times, and half a Time:.

Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. Dan 12:7

You must keep in mind that God set out a plan to restore his Kingdom and this is the reason Jesus was sent to earth and why Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel all had visions of the future. There's a lot of different ideas floating around as to what a Time, Times, and half a Time really means. Many people think of it as a 1260 year period. But what needs to be noticed is that Daniel was told from the beginning of the command to the end of things to come is the subject held within this time frame. Since the end does not come when Jesus returns to earth, this phrase cannot be limited to a 1260 year period, especially since far more than 1260 years have gone by and the kingdom is not restored yet.

Learning something new isn't always easy to do, especially since so many people have taught their version of things to come for so many years.

It seems that around every 2000 years or so something biblical happens.

And so you can see there may be some importance to a unit of time spanning 2000 years, or close to it. If Jesus died around the year 30 or 31 AD or even 33 AD, then two of God's days will have happened by the years 2030 to 2033. Jesus may return around that time. If you go by the year 483 BC, then two and a half days are up in the year 2017. In other words, two days have already transpired, but not two days since his death.

An interesting thing that is not in the bible is the asteroid Apophis, which is named after the Egyptian God of death. This asteroid is heading to earth and is expected to be here by 2029. If it doesn't pass close or hit the earth then, it is expected to in the year 2034 on its next rotation around the galaxy. Is this the star mentioned in the book of Revelation named wormwood? Wormwood also means death or poison.

Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Rev 8:10-11

Not everything physical that is suppose to happen in the bible is explained or detailed out for us to use. This asteroid may very well be the one mentioned in Revelation and was named such to fulfill prophecy, being poisoned (wormwood) brings death. When you add this to the timing of things, it seems very possible that the return of Jesus is very close and may very well happen within the next 10-30 years.

Some people are teaching that 2012 is significant too, but I redeem it as a hoax. Just because a Mayan calendar runs out on that date doesn't mean the world is going to end. It simply means the calendar did and the universe is changing. But for the most part, many scholars believe the return of Jesus is very close. This is supported by other things mentioned by him that indicate a change of events as time progresses.

And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; Luke 21:25

While the nations are in distress and the waves are roaring every time an earthquake happens, I don't perceive them as the same events just mentioned. This will happen when the powers of heaven are shaken and not until. I think what we have seen so far is small compared to what is really coming.

None the less, if you apply 2000 year span to a time, times and half a time, you get seven thousand years. How interesting is it that it also concludes with a half a time, or 1000 years, as single event, the Day of Judgment.

Take a look at the table below and see how it all ties together. On the bottom side of the horizontal line of time you can see the 1000 year segments, and on the top you can see the Time, Times and half a Time.

Unfortunately, I'm not convinced that everything Daniel said can be deciphered at this time and why I say that some of the visions Daniel had won't be known to us until after the millennium because they have been sealed up until the real end times and not the end of events before Jesus returns.

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Dan 12:9.

Too many people have tried to decipher Daniels visions and failed for obvious reasons. I also believe that most of what he said has already happened. For instance, up to chapter 9 Daniel talked about events that are documented as already happening. It's after that where we have trouble figuring things out and where things have been sealed up. However, part of chapter 12 can be seen as happening after the millennium.

And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Dan 12:1, & 2.

Therefore, we must admit that some of his words can explained, but not all of them. I think Daniel will be explaining them to us during the millennium. That way we will know more what to expect when Satan is released afterwards.

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, Rev 20:7 & 8

After the millennium the entire amount of people that have ever lived since the creation of mankind starting with Adam will be alive and this is part of what Daniel was talking about. Since so many people will be alive at that time, many of them will not be satisfied knowing that Jesus and the believers are blessed and they will rise up in the billions as they go up against Jesus and those who were alive during the millennium.

. . . whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Rev 20:8

This is the time where God himself will deal with these people and kill each and everyone of them while they still stand on their feet.

And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. Rev 20:9

And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. Zec 14:12

This is not a nuclear war that is being taught these days, this is God himself using his ability to destroy those who come up to destroy Jesus and the city of Jerusalem. This is also the time that Ezekiel talks about in chapter 38.

You will say, 'I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.' to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. Ez 38:11 & 12

People have been teaching the war that Ezekiel talks about will happen before the return of Jesus, but if that is true, then why does John tell us in Revelation about a war with Gog and Magog? The only answer to this when you compare all the scriptures is that this war does not take place before Jesus returns, but rather it takes place after the millennium. Which is also the "later" days of the prophecy and this world.

After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. Ez 38:8

The book of Revelation tells us that the "later" days are not until after the millennium. Being brought back by the sword is the resurrection of the dead back to life and the dwelling safely is the millennium time and reign of Jesus. The later days are after the millennium, and not before it like is being taught. This is how we know the war Ezekiel talks about is not until after the millennium and during the winter time Jesus spoke of.

What happens next is where Satan will be done away with once and for all. Then those who died in this war will be resurrected back to face the Day of Judgment. This is also when death and Hades will come to and end. Unfortunately, many people teach that death will end when Jesus returns, but this clearly shows that it too will not end until after the millennium.

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Rev 20:10

This is why I say people need to teach what is written and not what they are lead to believe by a religion or by people who don't have understanding. This includes those who are teaching on television and around the world today. You will find that no one can explain this who has ever wrote about the Antichrist and the end times because many of them have no clue as to what I have put here means. Listen to me, teaching about Jesus is one thing, but if you’re going to teach about prophecy, you have to include all of the scriptures and not just the ones you want too.

Now that you know about this 7000 years, even this scripture takes on a different meaning.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Mat 24:14

You see, the gospel hasn't been taught to all of the world or all of the kingdoms. This is impossible because Jesus wasn't around during Adam's time, nor was he here during the flood or with Abraham. Jesus didn't come to the world as a savior until 2000 years ago. Therefore, in order for the gospel to have been preached to all the kingdoms and all the people, it will have to be continued after the millennium and then that scripture will have true meaning.

But many who are first will be last, and the last first. Mark 10:31

Those who will be first are the ones who are chosen now, those who will be last are the ones who will be resurrected after the millennium. They will not receive salvation until then even though many of them lived long before Jesus ever came to earth.

The end will come after the millennium, after the rest of the world will have been taught about Jesus and after the kingdom has been restored. Jesus came here for all of mankind, not just a few.

Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11

As much as I hate to say this, we have been misguided by some very prominent people who have been mislead or do not have the Holy Spirit in them and it needs to stop. Understand, Jesus said this for a reason:

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Mat 24:11

All you have to do is listen and learn and you can see why he said it. The vast majority of false teaching has been done by people with good intentions who learned the wrong things and have passed them on to you.

I hope you can see how I came by the 7000 year prophecy and hopefully by now you understand what Jesus meant when he said:

Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near-at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Mark 13-28-30

Summer, which is the millennium, should be close because the signs are becoming more increasing everyday. The millennium is next, then the second resurrection stage where more preaching will be done by the followers of Jesus, then the war against Jerusalem with Gog and Magog followed by a final resurrection and the Day of Judgment.

This next time line just shows a closer approximate time from Daniel to the time that Jesus started his ministry. I want you to take special notice to the 3½ years Jesus was teaching before he was crucified. This was the first half of the 70th week Daniel talked about. Also, I am not sure I agree with history that reflects Jesus being born before the common era. Some say he was born in the year zero. Either way, this chart is simply for a reference. I myself tend to say that BC is before Christ, Common Era is when he was here, and AD is of course after death. But researching this is very difficult to pinpoint.

As you can see, there is no seven-year Tribulation that is going to happen before Jesus returns to earth either. When Jesus died the seventieth week stopped half way through it. The last half of it will be completed as told in the Book of Revelation.

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Rev 13:5

As you can see, Daniels seventieth week prophecy is broken into five parts.

Jesus died almost three and a half years after he started the seventieth week and remained for a while afterwards teaching, therefore slightly more than a 3½ year time frame is left, hence the 1290 days spoken of by Daniel.

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Dan 12:11

The daily sacrifice being taken away is the main rapture that takes place when Jesus returns. This gives Satan 1290 days for his revealing to take place and to fight with Jesus for 1260 of those days. Yes, Jesus is here when the Mark of the Beast is set up. Notice how the order of things to come are written in Chapter 14 of the book of Revelation.

Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads ... Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, ... Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Rev 14:1, 9-10, & 13

Jesus is back when the Mark of the Beast happens just as John has said in this chapter. The third angel follows after Jesus has already set foot on Mount Zion. Therefore, there is no way for the Mark of the Beast to occur before then. That's false teaching just like the end of the world when Jesus returns is. Although, it will seem like the end of the world is about to happen when Jesus returns.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Mat 24:29

If that doesn't scare the hell out of you nothing will. That alone is enough to scare the hell out of the world and all its population and it will seem like the world is going to end, but it won't. This is the part where the nations will be in distress and waves will be roaring and why I say the events happening now are not the same events when the return of Christ occurs. This will be the beginning of the wrath of God and so the Rapture will not be far away when that happens.

While I say the 7000 year prophecy began with Daniel, which was also the same time period of Ezekiel and his prophecies, I suppose some people could say that it may have begun with Abraham just after the flood because that is when God made a covenant for mankind. If that is so, then only the amount of years left would be effected and nothing else I have said. Roughly speaking, 2000 years from Abraham to Jesus, 2000 years until Jesus returns, 1000 year millennium, leaving 1000 years for the winter and 1000 years for the Day of Judgment.

While this sounds good, the problem with that is that the seasons don't match up to the timing of events. In order to match seasons with time lines, the seasons would have to be much shorter than 1000 years. Something I have tried to consider and could not come to a conclusion because Summer would overlap in the millennium to fall which would then lap over to winter right after the millennium. The flight of salvation during the winter would then be delayed until much later and the resurrection of the remaining dead will take place in the fall and not the winter. Which is why I remain confident it started with Daniel and his prophecies.

Could I be wrong about all of this? Yes, it's possible and very probable to some degree. I know when someone says they might be wrong about something how it deflates their work, but I am only human and working with a book that has very little to offer when it comes to factual and timely answers. Which is why people continue to study and research the bible for answers taday. But for the most part, I hope you can see and understand the Seven Thousand Year Prophecy now and how much there is to learn about it.
